Camden Woodcraft Folk
About us
We are a branch of the Woodcraft Folk which has been running activites in the London Borough of Camden and neighbouring boroughs for over 25 years.
We meet once a week in a local school hall where we enjoy games and activities. We go on camping trips and do other activities throughout the year.
Our members are made up of different age groups:
- Under 6s are known as 'Woodchips'
- 6 to 9 year olds (Year 1 to Year 4) are known as 'Elfins'
- 10 to 12 year olds (Year 5 to Year 7) are 'Pioneers'
- 13 to 15 year olds (Year 8 to Year 11) are 'Venturers'
- 16 to 21 year olds are District Fellows (DFs) and are slightly more autonomous and often arrange their own activities as well as assisting with the younger groups.
All our Leaders are volunteers, are CRB checked to work with children and have many years experience working with children and young people.
We love going on camping trips!
